Mike Cooper has produced a large body of radio work besides his own dweelings on the slid guitar. Just to quote a few: BEACH CROSSINGS - PACIFIC FOOTPRINTS, for RAI in Rome; RADIO LINES: La Voce, a radio performance made with Elio Martusciello, under the group name Schismophonia and in collaboration with Claus Bebber, Ron Schmidt, Jannie Pranger and Arno Peters. A co - production with RAI ( Italy ) Radio Bremen ( Germany ) NPS ( Holland ) and the Goethe Institute, Rome. RESONANCE FM RADIO- The London Musicians Collective (LMC) organised Resonance FM as part of the Meltdown 98 festival, at the South Bank Arts Complex in London, in June 98. Creative radio for a whole month 24 hours a day. TROUBLE WITH TROUSERS - ( 50mins.) - with Elio Martusciello and Jean Marc Montera. A radio project in seven parts, for three musicians playing guitars and electronics, improvised and broadcast as played, for the RAI 3 Audiobox program on September 30th 1997. Also broadcast on Resonance FM - London in 1998. EVERY LIVING THING - ( 20mins ) A solo radio project made as my contribution to the world-wide radio and internet project initiated by Ars Acustica and Kunstradio in Vienna, Austria and subtitled Rivers and Bridges. Broadcast 5th September 1996, via RAI 3 Audiobox, to 30 channels of 24 international radio stations. - http://thing.at/orfkunstradio/ e mail - kunstradio(a)thing.at; ABUSE OF TRUST - ( 43mins.) A solo radio project, made in two parts, commissioned by the RAI 3 (Italian Radio) Audiobox programme and broadcast 24th August ( my birthday )1996. Made in response to re - commenced nuclear testing in the Pacific Ocean by the French Government. Also broadcast on Resonance FM - London in 1998 and JE PROPOSE - ( 4mins.) Solo radio piece selected for entry in Prix Phonurgia Nova 7th International Concours (Arles - France) promoting creativity in radio. The piece was made from samples, selected in 1996 for the hundred years of sound broadcasting and sent to all participants on c.d., of archive material from the BBC, CBC, IINA, IIAS, RAI, RSR, RTL, Polskie Radio etc.etc. - http://www.giardini.sm/pn.htm
